Hello, I’m Salomão Figueiredo aka Sal.

I’m a Film Director and Executive Creative Producer at les beaux in Lisbon. 

I’m passionate about cinematography, storytelling and directing actors. I consider myself a visual storyteller. My creative process leads to a combination of mood, character, emotion and execution. Wether Directing or Producing, I thrive at the level where the artistic vision and practical demands meet.

I see myself as an artisan. I love exploring different styles and feel at my best working with emotive themes and observational comedy.

At les beaux, I’m curating a collective of young and unexpected visual artists and filmmakers. les beaux is a platform that nurtures talent and meets the demands of diverse projects. It’s where my 20 years of experience intersect with the future of these creators.

As a Film Director, I’ve crafted captivating campaigns for elite agencies like DON Agencia Buenos Aires, Energy BBDO Chicago, Ogilvy Chicago, Publicis Bucharest, (anónimo) Mexico, BBDO Buenos Aires, McCann NY, VML Portugal, and BLKJ Havas Singapore. I’ve collaborated with industry giants such as FIFA, Vodafone, McDonald's, Burger King, SC Johnson, Dazed & Confused Magazine, Samsung, Danone, Carrefour, and Staropramen on both local and global scales.

My work has been recognized at festivals like Cannes Lions, El Ojo Ibérico, Fiap, CCP, and Fibra. 

I'm passionate about tennis, I believe life is better when you surf and that everything tastes better with hot sauce. I live in Lisbon, Portugal.
